Silence

I apologize for the long silence... but life got crazy and crap was going down the like of which I hope not to see any time soon (still not completely out of the woods yet, but heck who is?). >.<

Now a mite of news, I'm taking off this weekend to see fair lands and fine folks... or something like that. Ok so really I'm just going to [information classified] and... dang it never mind, I guess I can't really say where I'm going but I promise it will be epic and fun! (And that it's not quite as pretentious as the first sentence would sound lol).

Talk to you folks again real soon (oh btw, HIMYM and TBBT start this week... bliss!).

Unemployment

Advantages of being unemployed:

I get to sleep in, stay in my pajamas all day (heck yeah!), plus have lots of time to do stuff.

Disadvantages:

I have no money and have to spend lots of time looking for a job.

Yeah that didn't work at all. This economy sucks! Good luck to all you other jobless hopefuls out there!

On a totally unrelated note, I have been reading The Chosen by Chaim Potok (not sure if that' the right spelling) and it got me to thinking. That whole "raised in silence" thing and people not actually talking to me but talking at me through a conversation with someone else... all too familiar. It's a good book, worth a read if you have as much time as I do. :)

Uniqueness

Ok so I know I said I was not going to include art as part of this blog since I suck at it, but this once I couldn’t think of a better way to make my point.  So I hope you’ll allow me to torture you just this once… I know the art is awful.

And if nothing else, the last 8 months have taught me that people like others to be just like them.  So no matter how open minded and accepting they say they are, you’d better watch out!  Because if you dare to exert more than just tiny bit of originality (or “different-ness,” yes I just invented a word :P) you will find that your awesome jovial friends will show a much nastier side… and in some cases may not be your friends any more.

Culture Moment!

I'm going to see Inception at [location suppressed] with [confidential] this afternoon... can't wait! I've heard it's awesome and the trailers look epic, so I'm really looking forward to this!

Comfort Food

First of all, what the heck is a comfort food? As if something you eat/drink could make you feel better... but I digress. When it comes to food and drink all are more or less equal in my eyes (don't really care for alcoholic beverages), though I am partial toward my girlfriend's cooking. :) I said more or less equal didn't I? Good because for me, what really hits the spot when I'm feeling blue, or even just a dull shade of monotonous gray, is a quad-shot mocha. Homemade with the best, strongest espresso pulled by [confidential] using the finest [information suppressed for reasons of National Security] beans. I don't know why (the idea of comfort food still seems a bit absurd to me, but I must face the facts of my own experiences) but just such a mocha makes me feel warm and cozy and comfy. *tips back mug and sips* Ahhhhhh, perfect!

thedualityprinciple Launch

Hey folks, it's me thedualityprinciple! So yeah, I enjoy many forms of art and read web comics (see sidebar :D) but sadly have no skills in that area. One thing that some people seem to enjoy is my sick twisted sense of humor, so I figured I might share it. :P One thing though. There will be no uniquely identifying information on this site or anywhere else public. Being a ninja top secret agent for [Agency Confidential] (darn them, can't say anything on here!), I have to be careful to keep my identity a secret. Otherwise ninja, butt-kicking goons in black suits carrying more gadgets than 007 might come hunt me down and beat me up. Sorry folks.

Ok so intro: I hate people trying to manipulate me, use me to their ends or to advance their agenda. I hate people trying to put me in a box or pin me down to something. I am who I am and that's the end of it. You can take it or leave it, but if you are going to hate on me or other visitors, f*** off. I mean so it, I am usually really easy going but one of the few things that pisses me off like nothing else is people mudslinging each other. If you want to have a reasoned, rational, calm and *respectful* discussion I'm totally down and I'm sure many others here are also. But if you have nothing calm and respectful to say STFU.
